Brentwood's hottest new full-service salon, Carol Carey Couture Salon & Spa, celebrated its grand opening Oct. 10. Located at 9040 Brentwood Blvd, Suite E (across from the Brentwood police station), the state-of-the-art facility's exposed high ceilings, brick walls, decorative concrete flooring and stainless steel cabinetry mimic a New York industrial loft-style salon. The space enjoys an abundance of natural light produced by massive 12-foot high storefront windows at three sides of the building. Owner Carol Carey founded and operated one of the first and most successful day spas in the East Bay, located in Antioch for over 10 years. "I chose Brentwood as the location for my new salon due to the significant growth in our community and the need for a 'high-end' establishment that will cater to the beauty and grooming needs of busy men and women," said Carey. "We have a team of well-trained professionals who are constantly striving to be at the top of their craft." The salon offers hair, nails, skin care, makeup and massage services. Carol Carey Couture Salon & Spa is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
